The Yeah Yeah Yeah's first album Forever to tell classic style of the Band as their début album (released on April 29, 2003) was nominated for a Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album and went Gold in the UK. Their music video for 'Maps' was also nominated for the MTV Video Music Awards and the NY Times chose Forever to Tell as the best album of the year. This was the Yeah Yeah Yeah's step up straight into recognition and the mainstream which set up their forthcoming albums, 'Show Your Bones and It's Blitz'
Personally Forever To Tell is my favourite album and the 'true' sound of this band.
